According to Musenge, the interim party secretary general, the Kitwe domiciled political party, was registered last on September 21.
The certificate of registration was granted today, September 22, to the ululations of the members.
Musenge had initially complained that authorities had indicated that documents for registration of his party would be processed in three months.
His party members in Kitwe this week informed police of their intention to hold a prayer and fasting at Kitwe’s City Square on Saturday over delays to register the party.
Police however, advised that the notice should have been lodged seven days before the planned event.
Musenge, a former Copperbelt minister and Chimwemwe PF member of parliament was recently expelled from the ruling party together with Roan member of parliament Chishimba Kambwili.
While Kambwili chose to fight his expulsion through court, Musenge elected to form his own party.
