The United Nations has just rejected Lunte MP Felix Mutati to serve as the next Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD.
When Sata visited some Asian country a few weeks ago, he deviated from his speech and started campaigning for Mutati to the amazement of other presidents but his bootlickers and handlers in Zambia lied that other presidents clapped for him.

But United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has nominated Mukhisa Kituyi of Kenya to serve as Secretary-General of UNCTAD for a term of four years beginning 1 September 2013.
Mr. Kituyi is a former member of the Kenyan Parliament and a former Minister of Commerce and Industry of Kenya.
The nomination will go to the UN General Assembly for confirmation.
If confirmed, Mr. Kituyi will succeed Supachai Panitchpakdi of Thailand, who assumed the post on 1 September 2005 and was reappointed in 2009. Mr. Supachai will conclude his second four-year term of office on 31 August.
