LATE President Levy Mwanawasa’s daughter Miriam has commended President Banda for enhancing developmental projects left behind by her father.
She said in an interview yesterday that President Banda has presided over development projects initiated by Dr Mwanawasa very well in line with the mission and vision of the country.
Miriam urged the President to continue fostering social and economic development for the benefit of all Zambians.
“This government, under the leadership of President Banda, is following up the mission and vision of the late President.
“My advice is that let the President continue with what he is doing, following up and continuing with the programmes left behind by the late President,” Miriam said.
And Miriam said she is ready to reconcile with her step-mother Maureen over the differences that have lately rocked the Mwanawasa family.
She said she would be pleased if Prophet TB Joshua from Nigeria presided over the reconciliation.
However, Mrs Mwanawasa could not be reached for a comment by press time.
