Mwinilunga town came to a standstill Monday morning as UPND President Hakainde Hichilema passed through.
Hichilema landed at Mwinilunga airstrip around 13 hours and was welcomed by thousands of slogan chanting residents.
There was rare excitement in town as local bikers gave him a presidential escort into town.
His motorcade was sandwiched by bikers and taxis that honked all the way as those on foot sang and echoed the real change slogan.
Hichilema was by 16 our local time set to address a public rally in Mwinilunga.
