My seat was nullified because I refused to serve under PF Mulusa

Former Solwezi Central Member of Parliament Lucky Mulusa says his election as Member of Parliament was not nullified because of corruption but because he refused an appointment as Deputy Minister in the Patriotic Front government.
Speaking when he addressed hundreds of Solwezi residents who welcomed him back home today, Mr. Mulusa said he had an exchange of very strong words with President Michael Sata when he called him to State House and offered him a position of Gender Deputy Minister. ” When he said I want you to be Deputy Minister I asked him what are you going to give the people of Solwezi Central, when he said I will give you a vehicle and free fuel I asked him how many vehicles are you going to give the people of Solwezi Central. I asked him when he was going to do the Chingola-Solwezi road he could not answer” he said. Mr. Mulusa disclosed that at this stage Sata looked annoyed and he knew that his seat was going to be nullified. And Mr. Mulusa has described the world as very unfair at times. He said his seat was nullified because he gave an offering of K1000 to a Church while the petitioner Newton Malwa was donating money in bars and gave money to prostitutes.” Life can be very unfair. I gave an offering and the petitioner was donating money in bars but he wins the case”. Meanwhile a number of Solwezi residents who gathered at the Showgrounds to welcome Mulusa have asked him to re-contest the seat.
