MMD Women’s Chairperson Catherine Namugala has been instructed to cause divisions in the opposition MMD party by President Michael Sata because she dubiously borrowed money from National Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA) that she used to purchase some flats in Kabulonga.
A source within the Patriotic Front Central Committee has told the Zambian Watchdog that President Sata has resorted to blackmailing some senior politicians into joining the PF after finding “ skeletons”.
The source said Ms. Namugala dubiously obtained a loan from NAPSA when Mr. Dan Musenge was Director General who happened to be Ms. Namugala’s Man friend at that time.
“ Your President Sata has resorted to blackmailing these politicians, he has been gathering information and once he finds you wanting, he instructs you to join Patriotic Front. So in short it is true that those joining PF from MMD have criminal records” the source said.
The source said Ms. Namugala used the money to buy former National Import and Export Corporation (NIEC) flats along Sable Road in Kabulonga which she later named Anchie Flats.
The Flats are next to Blue Crest Lodge and have a Billboard Written Anchie Flats Sable Road P.O Box 35974 Lusaka Telephone 0211260169.
Meanwhile the source said President Sata is also targeting Felix Mutati because a company called Chamb Investments in which he has interests is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Commmission for Money Laundering activities involving the Rural Electrification Authority.
