NAREP claims RB’s perfomance is below average

National Restoration Party (NAREP) Acting Secretary General Charles Mwenya says the party is saddened by President Rupiah Banda’s 7-point development plan as it leaves much to be desired.

Mwenya charged that President Banda’s performance the past 3years is below average and his 7-point development, which the head of state plans to use if he bounces back to power has failed to address the issue of unemployment.

He said there is need to be practical about solving the high unemployment levels in the country which pose a great challenge to citizens especially the youth and this can only be done by implementing policies that will bring about job creation.

Mwenya noted that President Banda’s action plan should only focus on projects such as construction of roads and building hospitals, but should also focus on improving the education system and employment so that citizens can be economically independent.
