NGOs under fire for alleged money laundering

Government has disclosed that about eight Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) for money laundering activities.
Speaking in Lusaka, Home Affairs Minister, Lameck Mangani said he could not disclose the names but investigations are in process.
Mangani said he has welcomed calls by Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) to investigate NGOs and ensure that all those found wanting are prosecuted.
