Nigeria players motivated with $5000 each ahead of clash with Zambia

Nigeriaplayers will be $5000 richer for taking part in this month’s double-header against Zambia and Botswana.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), each player will pocket $2,500 for each of the two friendly matches against Botswana and Zambia, who have both qualified for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

The plan the NFF say is part of a revived payment structure which has seen the winning bonuses for competitive matches slashed by 50 percent to $5,000.

The Super Eagles will lock horns with Botswana on November 12 in Benin City before squaring up Zambia three days later in Kaduna.
