NIPA lecturer arrested after beating student-girlfriend for refusing to abort

A lecturer at National Institute for Public Administration (NIPA) has been arrested for beating up his pregnant student-girlfriend after she refused to abort.

Victor Chanza was picked up and is currently detained at Woodlands police station. Chanza, in the photo below, is also the Dean at Kenneth Kaunda Metropolitan University.

Chanza who teaches business and company law at NIPA is said to have beaten his pregnant student-girlfriend until she fainted, then dragged her into the servants’ quarter where he allegedly raped her before dumping her at the gate.

Trouble seems to have started when the girl went to confront Chanza at his house in Ibex since he had been ignoring her phone calls.

Upon seeing her, he asked her why she was following him home and attacked her. She bled from the mouth and nose. Her friends later picked her from the gate and took her to Chilenje clinic before reporting the matter to the police.

Chansa is said to have multiple student-girlfriends at both NIPA and Metropolitan
