No funding to major hospitals for 5 months

The bankrupt PF government has failed to release funding to Zambia’s major hospitals Ndola Central, Kitwe Central Hospital, UTH, and Livingstone General Hospital for the last 5 months.

This has forced most suppliers to these hospitals to suspend supplying critical services and goods as unpaid invoices have piled up.

“We now depend on fees from High Cost services of our hospitals as government has not released funds for these hospitals and we are in critical situation”, said a sources from the Ministry of Health.

The PF government has been broke for sometime now and surviving on borrowed money from China to ‘invest’ in corrupt road contracts.
