No water in Chainda township for three months

Chainda township in Lusaka has been hit with a critical water shortages as taps have been dry for the last 3 months now.

Kanyama compound equally has had no water for 4 months now as residents have only been promised by the PF government that things will improve soon.

Chainda residents have complained that they have even stopped bathing and walking long distances to fetch water from some shallow wells where they are made to queue for long hours.

PF government has been bankrupt and unable to finance key sectors such as water and sanitation services as all the money has been taken to corrupt road contracts controlled from State House.

A few areas in Lusaka town are being serviced by water bowser trucks that deliver water sometimes once in a while.

Service delivery such as regular and clean water supply as well as reduction in electricity load shedding was PF’s key campaign messages.

PF MPs are also refusing to visit their areas for fear of being lynched.
