Now ECZ postpones by-elections

The uncompromising Election Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has now postponed the fourth-coming Malambo, Mulobezi, and Chipata Central by-elections if the Supreme Court controlled by ailing dictator president Michael Sata’s auntie Lombe Chibesakunda’s attempts to block opposition candidates in these areas so as not to create an unfair competition.

Last night, Chibesakunda sitting in her boardroom together with dull lawyer Wynter Kabimba and Post newspaper owner Fred Mmembe crafted a statement that was only released to the Post newspaper and Anthony Mwikwita of Daily Mail purporting that Maxwell Mwale, Dora Siliya, and Hastings Sililo do not qualify to contest elections and that the PF be given boardroom seats in Chipata Central and Lukulu West because the winning opposition candidates Misheck Mutolo of UPND and Mutolo of MMD were not qualified to stand.

But sources now say ECZ has cancelled the by-elections and will not allow PF to go ahead and file in nominations today as that amounts to an unfair competition.

Sensing another terrible defeat, the ruling PF has been in panic mode since the humiliation defeats in the previous by-elections and have been crying that their candidates go through the back door or unopposed.
