The PF regime says it has established its own ‘state cement plant’ in Ndola. The government run cement plant will be operated by the Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM).
According to PF websites and Facebook pages, evil dictatorEdgar Lungu will grace the ground breaking ceremony this Friday, 7 July 2017.
Instead of giving incentives to the private sector, the PF regime will now compete with Dangote and Lafarge using the new cement plant.
Larfage, formerly Chilenga cement was a government owned company but was privatised because government could not manage it properly.
‘The cement plant to be done under ZCCM will be two times bigger than the existing Dangote plant in Ndola which currently has a mass production capacity of 45.8 million tonnes per annum (Mta),’ states a statement on one of the Facebook pages run by State House.
It’s not yet clear how Dangote and Latarge will react , that is if they will accept to compete with government or exit market.
