Opposition forced to hold meeting in bush due to dictatorship

_________________________

Fellow citizens,

We wish to inform the Nation that we are no longer safe in this country under the Patriotic Front of Mr. Edgar Lungu.

As pointed out by the church mother bodies, the country has descended into full dictatorship as we no longer enjoy our freedoms of assembly and associationS.

We have so far tried to follow the law as provided by the Public Order Act by notifying the Police for us to hold mobilisation meetings in the communities but the Police have always denied us our right to hold meetings.

We have now resorted to colonial days tactics of holding our party mobilisation meetings in the bush and people’s farms.

We are glad our people are following us even this morning when we had another party mobilisation meeting in the bush.

This is inhumane treatment the PF leadership is subjecting it’s citizens who hold different views yet, Zambia belongs to all of us.

Today, citizens are not free to even talk even in their own houses and whoever talks is arrested but the PF conniving with the Police must know that every dog has its day.

Nathan Illunga

UPND NORTHERN PROVINCE CHAIRPERSON.
