Original PF members quit while new PF in Chipata shout for joy

Ati chani? We are in power, your Sata isdead

While original PF members who fought to remove the corrupt MMD out office have started resigning in frustration, the new PF stronghold of Eastern province is celebrating and filled with joy.

Contrast and compare the two press statements issued today on the same topic:

The District Chairman
Patriotic Front

Dear Sir
After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to resign from my position as youth secretary and from Patriotic Front with immediate effect.

Although there is much to say , I believe the reason leading to this decision are known by the party. I have failed to adjust and work with the New patriotic front which have embraced the Movement for Muilt party Democracy ( MMD) which we fought out of office. The people of zambia decided to Remove MMD because of there corrupt activities .

I feel that it is a time for new challenges and experience as I will be joining a new party where most of the old patriotic front members are going .

IF you have any questions, I will be happy to discuss this decision with you further.

Best wishes

Charles kabwita
Former Youth Secretary .
Former Chimwemwe councillor .

On behalf of the Patriotic Front PF Party Eastern Province Executive Committee and the entire party in Eastern province, I would like to thank His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu for appointing Hon Vincent Mwale as a Member of the Central Committee, which is the Patriotic Front’s supreme organ.

The appointment has brought joy and hope in the PF in Eastern Province. The provincial leadership is therefore, extremely grateful to President Lungu for the confidence that he has continued to exhibit in Youths as evidenced by my own Appointment as PF Provincial Chairman.

Furthermore, the appointment of our hard working MP for Malambo Constituency, Hon Makebi Zulu as Provincial Minister, the appointment of Hon Vincent Mwale as Minister of Local Government, and now Member of the Central Committee and many more youth appointments, shows how committed President Lungu is to working with young people.

The President must really be commended for being gender and age sensitive whilst ensuring credibility and capacity of his appointees to deliver beyond expectation.

Indeed he has instilled a sense of responsibility, hard work and commitment in Youths and women at large.

May I also take this opportunity to once more, congratulate Hon Vincent Mwale for the appointment.

Hon Mwale has been very instrumental in ensuring the growth of the party in Eastern province as well as promoting unity and stability, therefore, his new assignment raises our hope even higher that he will contribute more to the growth of the party.

We pledge to give him necessary support as a province. His hard work, commitment and experience will not only benefit the party in Eastern province but the Nation at large.

I have no doubt that the hardworking team of Members of the National Central Committee (NCC) from the Eastern Province comprising of Hon Charles Banda, the Minister of Tourism, Hon Dora Siliya Minister of Agriculture and myself, will even perform better with the joining of Hon Vincent Mwale, Minister of Local Government.

May I conclude by reaffirming our commitment to serving Eastern province better and delivering on our campaign promises on time.

We still remain committed to better and improve working relationships with our Traditional Leaders, Churches, NGOs and the entire people of Eastern Province and the nation.
