Panji asks ACC to investigate Vincent Mwale over Stadium

Panji Kaunda has written to the moribund Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate how the Chipata City Council leased a public stadium to infrastructure minister Vincent Mwale.

Panji has also asked the ACC to investigate the corrupt awarding of contracts to fix feeder roads in Eastern province. Panji believes that there is rampant corruption in the way contracts for feeder roads are awarded in the province.
Panji is a Former Works, Supply and Communications Deputy Minister in the Michael Sata regime. He is also the eldest son of first president Kenneth Kaunda.

He wondered some people with no business profiles have been given such contracts but the Zambia National Service has been sidelined.

On the corruption involving minister Vincent Mwake, Panji said government regulations forbid cabinet ministers from doing business with government.

He called upon the the ACC to establish the dirty relationship between Mwale and Chipata City Council
