All is set for the filing in of nominations for parliamentary candidates in the 150 constituencies as the presidential aspirants end their filing in of nominations today.
Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) Chairperson for elections Gabriel Namulambe has confirmed the ruling party has nominated candidates for all constituencies and is sure of victory.
Namulambe said MMD well prepared and has campaigned vigorously ahead of the forthcoming polls.
Meanwhile, Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) President Charles Milupi said his party will contest all the parliamentary seats as it has the capacity to do so.
Milupi said his party has received massive support from citizens and did even have to struggle to get 200 supporters when filing in his nomination, adding that the crowd that was present at the Supreme Court is just a drop in the ocean.
United Party for National Development (UPND) Leader Hakainde Hichilema the adoption process of candidates in his party was transparent and credible individuals have been nominated.
Hichilema said the party will soon announce all the candidates for the 150 constituencies.
Commenting on the filing in of nominations of Parliamentary candidates, Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General said individuals standing on the party ticket are ready to start filing in their nominations today.
Kabimba further said PF candidates are credible individuals and have the potential to serve the electorate well.
