PF accuses Western Province of tribalism

The Patriotic Front (PF) has attributed its difficulties in conducting campaigns in Western Province to tribalism.
PF Youth Chairperson Kennedy Kamba claimed that the party has been experiencing violence each time they participated in by-elections in Western Province because the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) practices tribalism in the region.
Kamba pointed at the violence that took place in Kaoma during the Mangango by-election last year and the current campaigns in Mulobezi as examples of what he called campaigns on tribal lines.
It is not clear what the PF means by tribal line campaigns in Western Province as all the candidates in mentioned constituencies hailed from Western Province.
The Patriotic Front (PF) has been applying violence in by-elections held in perceived UPND strong holds.
