Patriotic Front Copperbelt Youths have advised United Party for National Development UPND President Hakainde Hichilema to stay clear off President Michael Sata.
On Monday 11th June 2012, during a press briefing in Lusaka, the UPND Leader likened President Michael Sata to a hyena without a plan.
PF Provincial Youth Chairman Menyani Zulu advised Hichilema to stopwhat he called ‘ insulting the President’.
Zulu wondered why Hichilema should insult the President based on his donation of fuel to Malawi when , in Zulu’s reasoning, Sata should not be blamed as he was only trying to help a country in need.
The PF youths on Copperbelt have since disclosed they will in collaboration with their colleagues in Lusaka conduct peaceful demonstrations as a way of expressing there displeasure over Mr. Hichilema’s remarks.
On Monday, Hichilema said President Michael Sata has failed to articulate a positive vision for the country and is running affairs of the state on a “Chimbwii” no plan basis.
Hichilema said that it is clear for all to see that the 262 days under President Sata’s government have been difficult days and hard times for Zambia, the pockets of Zambians are empty and hurting as the lofty promise of more money has turned into a no moneyreality.
He said since Sata’s inauguration, he has never held a Press Conference to address the citizenry on the direction he intends to take the country.
Hichilema explained that the fuel Sata gave Malawi is the genesis of the fuel shortages in Zambia.
