PF cadres who impounded Mukula deny aggravated robbery charge

Four ruling Patriotic Front cadres who intercepted a convoy of eleven trucks ferrying Mukula logs have pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated robbery in the Lusaka High court.

In this matter, Venny Musonda, Augustine Mukuka, Robson Chipili and Fanny Zimba are charged with theft of property belonging to ZAFFICCO.

Fanny Zimba-Liywali was recently widowed and has four young children.

Allegations are that on December 29, 2017 the accussed jointly and whilst acting together did steal K17,000, USD1,300 and a phone altogether valued at K36,000.
