PF cancels licences of 13 radio stations

 

The PF regime through the ‘Independent’ Broadcasting Authority has revoked the license of a television station on the Copperbelt and suspended 13 radio stations countrywide.

The suspensions come a day after the world commemorated Press Freedom Day on May 3.

Among those whose licences have been suspended are include Commet and Pan African radios of Lusaka.

Others are Jive FM (Ndola), Ngoma FM (Luanshya), Mwinilunga radio (Mwinilunga), Valley FM (Nyimba), Luanginga Radio (Kalabo), Kwenje Radio (Chama), Vision Macha (Macha), Kariba FM (Siavonga), Young Generation (Choma), Live FM (Lusaka), and Ama Radio (Lusaka).
