PF Chainda chairman swindles 70-yrs old woman of K11m

A seventy year old woman of Lusaka’s Mtendere Township has allegedly been swindled of eleven million kwacha in a land transaction.
Eletina Tembo claims to have been swindled by Vingston Banda who is Patriotic Front Chainda ward chairman.
The elderly lady Ms Tembo who was allocated the land under the Movement for Multiparty Democracy government in 2005 decided to sell it to a Naomi Chulu.
She explained that she consulted Mr. Banda who was the witness to  the transaction in June this year and that the PF official got the money on her behalf but  has not given the owner, todate.
And Ms Chulu, the woman who bought the land confirmed having paid Mr Banda the eleven million kwacha.
But when contacted, Mr Banda denied the allegations stating that he neither knew Ms Banda nor Ms Chulu.
