PF cheats media owners over 2016 elections deal

During the flawed 2016 elections, most media ownership connived with the PF to block the UPND from advertising in their various media even when the opposition was ready to pay cash. The PF promised to pay such media a lot of money.

But up to now they have not been paid and together owed over K7 million debt, including the ECZ bill which was meant to coverup rigging.

Oscar Chavula, who represent the media owners has issues an SOS:

“We as the Media Owners Association of Zambia are very concerned with the nonpayment of money by the Electoral Commission of Zambia and the Patriotic Front Party. The Patriotic Front and the Electoral Commission of Zambia owe respective media houses over K7 Million for advertising services rendered during the August 2016 general elections.’

Chavula said:
“As an Association we demand that the owed money be paid to respective media houses without further delay failure to which the Association will take legal action against the Electoral Commission of Zambia and the Patriotic Front.
Several attempts to recover the money owed to our members have failed and as earlier indicated, the failure to pay this money is affecting our operations. Once again we demand that the ECZ and the PF pays the money owed to the respective media houses without fail.’

Even if the money comes it will finish. Zambia the Real Africa is going to default on Eurobond loans sooner or later and vulture funds will start grabbing assets like furniture at ramshackled embassies. The first is due very soon. Mozambique has already defaulted on some of its loans

UPND wake up and make representations to Christine Largade and the U.S. Congress who pay for most of the IMF budget about abuse of human rights.

Oh come off it. If you were offered a position today with travel, free phone, internet, water, rentals, malaiti, maid service and pay for chanting slogans you’d do the same.

Just more hot air by the Media Owners Association of Zambia (MOAZ)! Why not go ahead and seek legal redress so you get your dues? Good for you as you did not favorably respond to cries of those that begged your assistance buy you chose to side with the PF! Its not worth it sympathizing with you as you need this payment!

Iwe Oscar, we know you as a staunch PF cadre and now you want pretend other wise. The PF built you a house and bought. vehicles in which you ferry your numerous concubines. I pity your wife, if you are married. You may have given her aids

This is what happens when you connive with a dictator. Best to remain a true professional at all times. As far as PF is concerned you owe your existence and survival to them. So what can you tell them. You need to kiss the feet of ECL for you to get anything. I hope you have learned something about dictators.

Don’t pay them. They are reaping what they sowed. Selfishness never has sustainable rewards. Your sins have found you out
