PF says stakeholders displeased with electoral body for failing its duties

Patriotic Front (PF) Spokesperson Wynter Kabimba has accused the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) of failing to engage stakeholders on contentious issues such as printing of ballot papers.

Kabimba said that he expected ECZ cancel the contract with Universal Printing Group, a South African firm engaged to print ballot papers ahead of the forthcoming elections.

He noted that it will take a long time before we do away with civil strife as most public institutions are run with impunity.

Kabimba further claimed that various stakeholders are displeased with the electoral body as it is an institution charged with the duty of administering issues of national importance, but is failing to do so.
