Divisions in the ruling Patriotic Front in Kasama have resurfaced.
This follows the warning sounded by District Chairperson Caleb Monta on suspended Kasama Central Constituency Chairperson Abram Mulenga not to go ahead with a meeting slated for this Wednesday at the party office to chat the way forward in to the future of the party.
Monta who was flanked by his District Information and Publicity Secretary Chanda Kabwe described the said meeting as illegal and has no blessings of the party.
He has since charged that there is no way a meeting can be called by a clique of suspended and demoted officials.
And PF District Information and Publicity Secretary, Chanda Kabwe who accused suspended Kasama Central Constituency Chairperson Abram Mulenga of bringing confusion also warned that whoever will attend the said meeting will be dealt with.
According to a letter obtained by Mano News yesterday dated 24th September 2014, Abram Mulenga who is insisting that he is still the party’s Kasama Central Constituency Chairperson called for a meeting to resolve the differences that had rocked the party in Kasama.
Mulenga claimed that this follows President Sata’s amnesty to all suspended party officials.
He said recent disturbances in the constituency had affected the party negatively hence it was his duty to call for a meeting.
