Chiseke is the same person president Michael Sata referred to as a refugee from Angola and even ordered the police to arrest Chiseke for being in Zambia illegally and contesting elections. He was arrested but his case was dropped after he accepted to work with PF but remain an MMD MP on paper. Read the story here: http://www.postzambia.com/post-read_article.php?articleId=23451
Highly placed sources say PF have failed to find another candidate and are now left with no option but field the same Chiseke.
PF have so far been running legal battles trying to bar opposition candidates whose seats were nullified from re-contesting their seats.
But Chiseke does not seem to have learnt to refrain from corrupt activities as his truck was seen ferrying people from Kazanga ceremony to various destinations.
He called almost all the indunas from Mangango constituency at Kaoma Trades Training institute and urged them to vote for him as the ruling party candidate.
“We were all given drinks, a bottle of mineral water, tennis biscuit each and an undisclosed amount of money. This is politics of the village and poverty and the opposition must wake-up from the slumber as they will be dealt a serious blow,” sources said.
Nominations for Mangango by-elections take place next week 9th July 2013, while elections will be on 19th August 2013.
