Ceremonial Vice President says Zambia is looking for help from developed countries to resolve her unemployment problems.
Guy Scott says advanced countries such as the peoples’ republic of China can help to create jobs for the local people.
Scott was speaking at his office when he met visiting Chinese Minister for International Department of the Communist Party, Wang Jiarui in Lusaka.
In response, Wang said China will help Zambia create employment by allowing Chinese companies to come and invest in Zambia.
And President Michael Sata has held closed door talks with visiting Chinese Minister for International Department of
the Communist Party, Wang Jiarui in Lusaka today.
The talks, which lasted for about 30 minutes, were held at State House soon after the Sata arrived from Angola.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Given Lubinda, Transport, Works, Supply and Communication Minister Yamfwa Mukanga, Lusaka Province Minister, Gerry Chanda and several Deputy Ministers, attended the closed door talks.
Wang is in the country for a three day state visit during which time he has held talks with First Republican President, Kenneth
Kaunda, and PF Secretary General, Wynter Kabimba.
He is expected to leave the country tomorrow after concluding his state visit to Zambia.
