Lungu inspects vegetable field in Israel

The PF government has brought an Israeli company to start growing vegetables such as tomatoes and poultry products (chickens and eggs)
Agriculture Minister Dora Siliya met the Israeli delegation from ZRB group of companies today and said land will be provided for the Israeli firm to embark on vegetable production adding that more firms will come to secure land.
The failed Agriculture Minister said that the country is in a ‘hurry’ to see more investments in the agricultural sector.
And speaking on behalf of ZRB Group of Companies, Zeez Zacharin said his company is interested in putting up green houses for production of tomatoes, potatoes, onions and cucumbers and also in production of eggs and chickens.
Many Zambians have to struggle to secure land for agriculture but the government is keen to give huge hectares of land to foreigners.
