PF govt to construct 14.5 billion kwacha Presidential lodge

After failing to pay university students, the PF government plans to construct a presidential lodge in Chinsali district of Muchinga province at a cost of K14.5 billion Kwacha or 14.5 million Kwacha PF money.
The Provincial administration in Muchinga has since handed over a site for the construction of the Presidential Lodge to the Hotels Board of Zambia to supervise the project.
The project will be carried out over a 15 month period.
At his first ever press briefing in November last year, outgoing President Edgar Lungu pretended to embark on austerity measures among them halting of all new infrastructure development projects and deferring of all signed projects.
The PF government has however been consistently rescinding most of its decisions.
