Untied Party for National Development (UPND) has maintained that the PF government has so far lamentably failed to deliver on its core campign promises.
Party Deputy Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has singled out the failure by the current regime to restore the Barotseland agreement when it clearly promised during elections
Mweetwa, the MP for Choma, was speaking on Hot-FM radio programme Thursday.
Mweetwa dismissed the Commission of Inquiry led by Roger Chongwe saying it has nothing to offer to the Lozi people as far as their aspirations are concerned.
“PF Government has lamentably failed this far on core election promises. President Sata is only giving us cosmetic headlines when he appointed the Commission of Inquiry which has nothing to do with restoring the 1964 Barotse Agreement,” he said.
Mweetwa further accused the PF Government of having failed to create jobs to the Zambians as well as fight poverty in the country.
“What measures and plans government has to revamp the Zambian economy? Job creation is not sending back street vendors to trade on the streets,” Mweetwa said.
