PF loses Kaoma election petition and ordered to pay MP Antonio costs

The Lusaka High Court Friday afternoon  dismissed with costs the election petition by PF Kaoma Central Parliamentary candidate Enock Kaleka Maseka.

Maseka was challenging the election of Carlos Antonio on allegations of corrupt practices. High Court Judge Florence Lengalenga held that the petitioner had failed to prove the allegations to the standard required in election petitions.

The judge further held that the Petitioner’s allegations were based on hearsay information which he did not verify before going to Court.
