PF loses more members to UPND

Former Zambian diplomat to Angola Mung’omba Ngoma and Patriotic Front PF Member David Lungu have defected to the opposition UPND, United Party for National Development.
Mr Ngoma told Breeze FM News that he had decided to defect to the opposition UPND because of the failures they have seen in the Patriotic Front government.
He charged that President Lungu and his cabinet have failed to deal with certain key issues in the country such as corruption and high prices of mealie meal.
Mr Ngoma further stated that it is sad to note that founding members of the Patriotic Front are being frustrated by the current government.
And David Lungu who is also Chairperson for The Network of People Living with Disabilities in Eastern Province, echoed Mr. Ngoma’s words on why he has ditched PF.
Meanwhile when contacted for a comment, Eastern Province Patriotic Front Chairperson Andrew Lubusha says as far as he is concerned Mr. Ngoma has never been a member of the Patriotic Front.
Mr Lubusha says ever since Mr Ngoma was called back from foreign service for failing to perform, he has been bitter and he together with other former diplomats have always been frustrating the government.
And Mr Lubusha says he has not received any official resignation from Mr David Lungu, whom he described as a sympathizer of the Patriotic Front Party.
