Kabwe central constituency PF Lumpen MP James Kapyanga has accused central provincial administration unit of deliberately blacking out ailing dictator Michael Sata’s poorly attended Katuba rally.
Kapyanga was irritated after learning that the provincial administration unit had omitted a local radio station which the PF has been using as a mouth piece to propagate failed programmes.
KNC radio has of late been used as a vuvuzela media house for PF, recently Kabwe DC Patrick Chishala bought a fridge for the radio station which has been famed for hosting PF officials. Kapyanga attacked the technocrats at the province but reliable senior officials have urged Kapyanga to leave them out of politics.
“This man without traceable education must leave us out of his politics, if he is fighting for a ministerial job from the president he must go and leak his boots at state house, we are not a PF campaign agency but a civil service and it is not our job to transport his vuvuzelas. This man must be telling his party to fulfill the promises on the reopening of the Mulungushi textiles, incomplete roads and hostels at Mulungushi and Nkrumah universities,” said a visibly annoyed senior government official. The PF camp in Katuba remains divided as voters shun their meetings but cadres want to employ the media to paint them as a success.
At the Katuba rally, Sata who walked with the aid of a walking stick and a small local boy failed to articulate his government programmes but went on rampage attacking UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who was reportedly having a successful meeting in another area in Katuba.
