And following PF secretary general Davies Chama’s directive to the acting Attorney General Abraham Mwansa to ensure that the High Court reinstates the stayed DPP tribunal, the ruling party says it hopes judge Chitabo will reverse the decision today.
PF sources have disclosed that Mwansa and other lawyers went to judge Chitabo’s house last night to compel him to rescind his decision against President Edgar Lungu and that the judge reserved the ruling to this morning.
“It will be sorted out. At the end of the day boma ni boma, takwaba… you cant have a country where the President says ‘A’ the judge says ‘B’, its a presidential directive,” said a senior PF official who sought anonymity.
The PF yesterday issued a strong warning against High Court judge Chitabo of grave consequences if he does not reverse the decision to stay the tribunal appointed to probe Mutembo Nchito.
