Dr Mulenga said its Government policy to deliver quality health care to the general citizenry and improve the health status of the Country.
He said Government intends to build over 650 health posts Country wide to improve on the access to health by the people.
He said this during an Exclusive interview on Zambezi fm Radio this morning.
He further explained that the building of more health centers will create employment for the people adding that there is need to train and employ more health workers.
And the Deputy Minister has also disclosed that his ministry has noticed an influx in abuse of drugs all over the world and that is why the world bank in collaboration with government has embarked on a project to sensitize drug dealers on the administration of drugs.
He said there is need to monitor how people take drugs because people have little knowledge on the effects of drugs in the drug streams.
The Health deputy minister was in Livingstone to open a new drug store at Dambwa Central market.
