The Patriotic Front claims that MMD Lusaka province chairman William Banda can be sent back to Malawi because there is no court order that allowed him back in the country.
Banda was deported to Malawi by the Fredrick Chiluba regime.
PF Lusaka province chairperson Paul Moonga says Banda was only brought back by the mercy of late president Levy Mwanawasa.
Moonga told FM radio that ‘we will review his case and see how he was brought back and he should be taken back to Malawi.’
He said Banda has forgotten that not longer ago he had left his wife ‘languishing in Bauleni compound when he was deported.’
Moonga said that Banda belongs to the stone-age politics of stone-throwing.
He said that Banda is an old man who should behave according to his age otherwise he will be bruised again.
Recently, William Banda warned the opposition to desist from unwarranted attacks and insults on President Rupiah Banda.
Mr. Banda said it is sad that despite the president not responding to their insults politicians from the opposition political parties have continued to insult the republican president.
Banda also accused opposition political parties of trying to undermine government’s efforts to bringing about development in the country.
