PF team booed and chased in Monze

VILLAGERS in Monze’s Bbombo area booed and chased the Patriotic Front
provincial leadership which was in the area campaigning for its leader Michael Sata.
The villagers demanded to know why the PF/UPND pact failed and the reason for visiting the area.
The villagers most of them UPND cadres and supporters accused the PF of using the Hichilema in the pact for Sata’s popularity in the UPND
strongholds.
The villagers vowed not to vote for Sata and the PF because they had deceived the people of Zambia and particularly those that supported
regime change.
“We feel betrayed by Sata and his PF, he just wanted to use Hichilema
to win support in areas he was not popular like Monze, but we have to tell you, go and tell Ba Sata that we are not going to vote for him,
we shall not give him a vote because we cannot trust him, he has
disappointed us so much,” they complained.
And during a meeting which was later held under a tree near Kandela on
Sunday, PF provincial chairman Joseph Akafumba promised the people of
Bbombo roads, water and improved health and education facilities.
Akafumba bemoan high levels of poverty and poor marketing strategies.
He told a handful of villagers who went to mostly eat food that Sata
is a good man and will provide quality leadership.
