Reverend Kamanga who was in company of NAREP leader Elias Chipimo at the time of the abduction which happened in the Central Business District sustained injuries in the ordeal.
Narep Administrative officer David Kapoma has confirmed to Qfm News that Reverend Kamanga was abducted together a NAREP youth leader only identified as Bwalya.
He says NAREP officials hard a tough time locating Reverend Kamanga who was abducted at about midday before being dumped at Down Town bus stop.
Meanwhile National Restoration party leader Elias Chipimo Junior says Zambians should not trust politicians with empty promises.
Speaking shortly after undertaking a walk in the streets of Lusaka this morning to have a direct interaction with people on the streets, Mr. Chipimo says the majority have expressed worry on the failure by the PF government to fulfill their campaign promises.
Mr. Chipimo says there is need for government to pay attention to the cries of the people if they are to deserve another term of office.
The NAREP leader has also expressed worry on the high unemployment levels among young people in the country.
He says interacting with people is the best way to know what exactly their needs and challenges are.
