PF thugs led by their District Chairman Goodson Banda continued their violence by attacking mourners at Kapansa in Chongwe which was the area where president Michael Sata ordered his soldiers to shoot and kill defenceless citizens.
UPND deputy Secretary General Kachunga Simusamba said the incident happened when UPND president Hakainde Hichilema went to the area to pay his respect and convey condolences to the bereaved families.
Mr. Simusamba said while they were visiting the families, Chongwe MP Silvia Masebo appeared on the scene and was later followed by Goodson Banda with thugs and immediately started attacking the mourners damaging Mr. Hichilema’s vehicles together with his entourage.
The PF thugs also attacked the Muvi TV crew and beat up the reporter by the name of Njenje who was in the UPND entourage.
Mr. Simusamba said even the UPND efforts to carry the person who was injured and take him to hospital failed because of the brutality by the PF thugs.
Mr. Hichilema who cancelled his Feira by-election constituency trip in order to join the mourners could not say anything to the latest brutality by the PF thugs this mourning.
PF has of late been unleashing its militia on anyone expressing their opinion or wishing to assemble with others as a way of suppressing exposure of its growing unpopularity for failing to govern.
