PF to spend k3 m ferrying cadres to Dudumwezi

While University of Zambia Lecturers ands Researchers are on Strike for not being paid their salaries, the PF government is to spend more than K3million to ferry cadres to go and mock people of Dudumwezi in Southern province.

A source from within State House has disclosed that hundreds of cadres are being ferried to Southern Province ahead of Edgar Lungu’s visit to the province this week. The source said PF cadres started being transported to Southern Province last night. ” Mr. Lungu and please note. I also do not recgonise him as President will be touring some projects in Southern Province including the construction of the Livingstone modern market and Bus station but expects apathy so cadres from Lusaka are being transported to Livingstone” the source said. The source said Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba had on Friday been instructed to use money from Toll gates to pay PF aligned contractors who in return contributed to the transportation of cadres. ” They do it systematically. All they did was get money raised from toll gates and pay PF contractors then the contractors give a certain percentage to the party. It looks smart but don’t you think it is better if we had paid the striking UNZA staff because the multiplier effect is that students may riot” the source said. Unza lecturers and researchers on Friday went on strike demanding their June salaries that they claim was supposed to be paid on June 23rd. Lungu is also expected to commission the construction of the Dundumwezi/ Kalomo road on Tuesday. This, just like the Mongu stadium, will just be commissioned and abandoned. The main aim of Lungu’s trip is mockery.
