The Patriotic Front (PF) says it and and the United Party for National Development (UPND) will support one candidate in the Mpulungu parliamentary bye-election.
PF secretary general Wynter Kabnimba says the UNPD has agreed to back a PF candidate in the October 28, bye-election.
The UPND has not said anything but have complained about PF’s decision to contest the deputy mayoral elections in Lusaka when they had agreed to back the UPND.
The United National Independence Party (UNIP) has announced that it will participate in the Mpulungu election.
