PF will get less than 5% in Northwest, OP tells Scott

The ruling Patriotic Front is headed for a devastating loss to the UPND in North-Western Province, according to a classified Office of the President Special Division Report to acting president Guy Scott.

The Office of the President Special Division (OOP-SD) North Western Region HQ gave the report to Scott on 9th January, 2015 when he visited the area.

An analysis of the would be results as per assessment conducted by the OOP-SD in all the 8 districts as of 9th Jan, 2015 showed that UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema (HH) would record 91% of the total votes in the province with Edgar Lungu trailing at 5% and Nevers Mumba at % & the rest sharing the other 1%. The results submitted to the provincial OOP-SD HQ by all the district intelligence officers (DIOs) in the province have been consistent with HH expected to poll 90% plus.

The ruling PF in the Province where scheduled to host Edgar Lungu on a 2 day campaign trail on 9th and 10th January, 2015 but that was cancelled after realizing that Edgar Lungu had no support in the province & instead opted to send Dr Guy Scott whose visit confirmed the party’s lack of support. In order to ‘eat’ away from HH’s support in the province, the OOP-SD in North Western has advised that Edgar Lungu needs 4 days of campaigns and touch in all the 8 districts in the province.

HH has already been to Kasempa, Solwezi, Mufumbwe, Manyinga, Zambezi, Ikelenge, Mwinilunga and Chavuma and that his rallies in all the 8 districts were well attended with a notable experience of MMD officials endorsing his candidature and campaigning for the UPND.
