PF wins the three parliamentary by-elections

The ruling PF has won all the three parliamentary by-elections in Mulobezi, Petauke and Malambo
11202092_979014208815996_2960765475470944033_nDora Siliya of the ruling PF in Petauke Central has reclaimed her seat with a landslide by polling 12, 830 votes while Allan Zulu of the UPND polled a 2, 331, with Ignasio Phiri of UNIP polling 259 votes.

In Malambo constituency, PF Candidate Jacob Shuma polled 5, 566 votes to scoop the seat beating his closest rival of the UPND Simon Phiri who got 3, 842 votes, while Independent candidate Florence Mwayopa managed to poll 438 votes with UNIP’s Jairos Mchenga taking fourth place with 181.

In Mulobezi, the PF candidate polled 3337 while the UPND candidate polled 3313.
