This is Twatasha Basic School in Chawama constituency. This class has 150 pupils, no desks or facilities for teacher to use. The minimum in other classes is 120 pupils per class.

The normal enrolment is supposed to be 45 pupils per class. Is it really that expensive for government to buy desks for these little ones so that they can have a decent learning environment?

This photo was taken by the Watchdog and published on April 02, 2015. But nothing has been done to address the situation. Pupils are still overcrowded and sitting on the floor. This is the Chawama president Edgar Lungu left behind before moving to State House to develop the entire country?
