Some graphic details have revealed how Young African Leadership Initiative president Andrew Ntewewe, Governance Advisor Issac M. Mwanza and the Accountant only identified as Mundia blatantly stole and shared donor money which was meant to facilitate them to monitor the 2016 elections.
A source from the forensic department of the Zambia police said that three audits done on the organisation have revealed glaring theft by the three.
“We are almost foreclosing so far we have just concluded our own investigations in YALI and then we are moving on to FODEP and SACCORD next week,” said the officer close to the investigation.
The officer also revealed that the investigation had shown that Abdon Yezi, a former Program Manager at ZAP had some unexplained monies in his account.
Recently the Watchdog revealed that the three NGOs had stolen money that was meant for election monitoring supported by the Zambia Accountability Programme (ZAP) and the UKaid.
