Police beat up Hone students demonstrating over load shedding

Screen Shot 2015-07-24 at 08.19.39Police last night savagely beat up Evelyn Hone College students who were conducting peaceful protests against load shedding. By midnight, police were teargassing NIPA and Hone Students.
Students will start sitting for exams on Monday but there has been no power for days on end.

Yet president Edgar Lungu is in Uganda to sightsee, enjoy and is spending more than K3 billion. This money is enough to buy power generators for all colleges and hospitals across the country.
