President Michael Sata has instructed police to block former defence minister Geoffrey Mwamba (GBM) from speaking on radio Mano in Kasama.
GBM was scheduled to feature on a live program to explain development ‘projects’ in his constituency at 10 hours this morning. But over 50 policemen cordoned off radio Mano and would not allow the area MP to enter the building.
A Kasama resident told the Watchdog that ‘this is another sad day for Zambia. GBM is MP for Kasama Central and today he can be prevented from speaking to the electorates?
‘People in Kasama are very annoyed over this development. Sata does not know that he is de-campaigning himself by appearing this desperate.’
