Police commissioner Kamukoshi and PF’s Davis Chama block arrest of offender Nansungwe

IMG_3891 croppedCentral province commissioner of police Lombe Kamukoshi has directed police at Kabwe central police station not to arrest the provincial agricultural officer Idrene Nansungwe who last week assaulted a UPND official.

Nansungwe assaulted UPND provincial youth chairman Milner Mwanakampwe after the latter revealed that PF has reduced the number of beneficiaries under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).

Mwanakampwe sustained a swollen face and torn lower lip and police were by yesterday trying to arrest Nansungwe but Kamukoshi directed that the arrest be halted ‘for some time’. But sources from division headquarters have told the Watchdog that Kamukoshi, who is acting on directives from Chama wants the matter to die a natural death. She has also arranged for Nansungwe to obtain a backdated medical report which is going to be signed by a stooge medical doctor.

“Just after Mwanakampwe exposed the scam, Chama came to Kabwe and had a meeting with the farmers and Nansungwe. So Nansungwe got the courage and went ahead to assault Mwanakampwe and when an arrest was due, bwana Kamukoshi blocked it because she claims that Nansungwe also has a medical report,” wrote the source.

Kamukoshi who is unmaried, is also said to be having a sexual affair with Chama in spite of her knowing that the same Chama is in an illicit relationship with Lusaka province police commissioner Charity Katanga.
