Police deny Ahmed Bharuch bond; give him more charges

Police have given more charges to a man who reported their colleagues to the Anti Corruption Commission.

Ahmed Bharuch is detained at Chaisa police station and has been charged with what police call fraudulent dealing in motor vehicle. He has been denied police bond.

Zambia Police spokesperson Ndandula Siamana Sunday claimed that Bharuch was given bond but that it was later revoked because he threatened a police officer. She did not explain the circumstances.
